Pawsitivity does not maintain a waitlist or ongoing application pool. Instead, when a service dog is ready for placement, we announce that opportunity on our website and invite veterans to apply at that time. Each dog is provided at no cost to the veteran, made possible through the support of individual donors and foundations.

Because each dog progresses through training at an individual pace and is matched based on temperament and specific needs, we do not know in advance when the next placement will become available.

Each placement is carefully matched to ensure the best long-term partnership between the dog and the veteran.
