Help Disabled Veterans Pay Veterinary Bills.

You can keep a dog and their veteran together

Pawsitivity is holding a fundraiser for disabled veterans who need help with veterinary care.

For many low-income senior and disabled veterans, a pet is family, daily routine, and emotional support. When a medical crisis hits, vet bills can be terrifying. Too often, veterans must choose between their own needs and their dog's care, or even surrender a beloved dog (really).

Your donation provides real help with vet bills so dogs get the treatment they need and dogs and their veterans can stay together.

What your gift does

Your donation helps pay for:

Exams and diagnostics.

Medications and follow up visits.

Urgent treatment for injuries or sudden illness.

Basic care that prevents small problems from becoming emergencies.

We work with verified low income senior and disabled veterans who cannot afford necessary veterinary care.

Your impact

Every gift makes a specific, practical difference.

$25 helps cover basic vaccines or medications.

$50 helps pay for an exam and urgent visit.

$100 supports diagnostics such as blood work or x rays.

$250 helps fund treatment for a serious illness or injury.

$500 or more can fully cover life saving care for a dog in crisis.

Any amount helps a dog receive care and allows their veteran to breathe a little easier.

Why your help is needed

Veterinary care is expensive, and most assistance programs are small or limited to emergencies. Many disabled veterans live on fixed incomes. When a dog becomes sick or injured, they often delay care, go into debt, or consider euthanasia or surrender (really).

Your donation fills this gap. You make sure dogs receive care from licensed veterinarians and stay in the homes where they are loved.

How it works

  1. A disabled veteran applies through a partner clinic or referral agency.
  2. We verify financial need and confirm the treatment plan with the veterinarian.
  3. We pay the clinic directly for approved services, using funds provided by donors like you.
  4. The dog receives care, and the family stays together.

Trust and transparency

Pawsitivity is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, founded in 2012. All gifts are 100% tax-deductible.

Give today

Your gift can mean:

A dog receives needed medication instead of being surrendered.

A veteran does not have to skip their own medication to pay a veterinarian bill.

A disabled veteran keeps the service or support animal that helps them through each day.

You can keep a dog healthy and a veteran from losing their closest companion.
