Best practice with a service dog in a restaurant is to get a table next to a wall because the dog can then be against the wall and out of the aisles. There was no such option available today, so Xander is squeezed under a table that has a bench... :-)

Not only did Bear's man post pictures of going to physical therapy(!), they also went to the grocery store! All this from a man with a TBI with PTSD so bad, that formerly he couldn't leave the house! You are AMAZING, sir!!!!!!!!

Dani's boy's (blind, with autism) mom texted: "Dani was amazing today. I took Adam to Oxbow Park and she was wonderful, even when walking through the zoo part! Dani shepherded many people to Adam's world...both kids and adults. Look at the little boy in the photo. I hadn't said anything to either of those kids, they just came over to play and pet the dog and check out Adam. Grateful for our day."

How to know if Xander is aroused (such as seeing a bunny): his tail will stick straight out. Usually his tail is down (some other dogs, when they are aroused, will stick their tail straight in the air!).

Tom, Xander, and Xander's man have been practicing commands and doing public access work all day. Their training and bonding is going really well! Xander and his man are going to be a great team.
