A jogger ran by with a dog that had their FULL hackles UP--but Xander held his down-stay! (This photo was taken later, but shows what a good job he is doing!)

Xander is seen by Dr. Seidl before she goes on maternity leave! Thank you, Dr. S--you and Grand Avenue Veterinary Center are heroes! (Xander is healthy, he is just getting his final checkup before graduating this fall!)

Xander worked on down-stays and recalls at the park today. Even with a few kids and dogs around, he did great!

We took Xander to a movie this afternoon, and he was perfect! He lay quietly the whole time and didn't even respond when a dog in the movie barked. Good boy!

While out for a walk today, we happened upon a church carnival with a petting zoo. Xander was interested in the animals (which included a llama, lamb, pig, monkey, and rabbits), but he did not get excited, and he followed commands, including "watch me." Good boy, Xander!
