Pawsitivity Service Dogs is an award-winning 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in St. Paul, Minnesota.
We are on a mission to rescue dogs and train them as service dogs.
The Problems
970,000 US Military Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans suffer from PTSD and other post-combat disabilities. |
A person with autism or epilepsy is 400% more likely to die in any given year. |
1,2000,000 unwanted dogs are killed in the U.S. each year. |
The Solution
Pawsitivity works on all these problems simultaneously by rescuing dogs and training them to be loving, loyal service dogs for people with disabilities.
Pawsitivity Service Dogs transform lives.
Bailey keeps his boy with autism safe from bolting in front of car traffic. Doby saves his handler's life by waking her to warn of drastic drops in her blood sugar. Harley guides his man with a TBI and PTSD home after flashbacks leave him close to catatonic. In addition to these tasks, these hero dogs calm meltdowns, provide a social bridge, bring people out of their shells, and most of all, these dogs foster independence.
Accountability is important to you and to us.
