One of the things Haven will be doing for her boy is serving as a "Social Bridge," so she needs to get used to (lots of) children! Thus we visited Girl Scout Troop 24506 of Lakeville, Minnesota and gave a speech/answered questions! Great kids - and Haven loved it!

Bailey's boy drew a picture for us - and we've got it hanging up on our fridge with a magnet that looks like a puppy Bailey!

Haven seems to be saying, "Duh...you KNOW that you're supposed to put me next to the wall, not in the middle of the aisle." She catches on fast!

After a super-long wait, Renee finally receives Doby! They are both now so happy! :-)

Renee received Doby this weekend - and two nights ago, he woke her in the middle of the night frantically licking her hand, so she checked her blood sugar. It was down from 100 to a frighteningly-low 45! Good dog!

You know how you can tell if a nonprofit is a good one? If the president and founder drives a 20-year-old car! ;-) Here's Haven helping me replace the battery outside O'Reilly's Auto Parts in St. Paul.

This Saturday, October 12th, is Haven's 3rd birthday!
