This elderly woman begged to pet Harley and he was glad to oblige! Usually people don't pet service dogs because the dog's are supposed to focus on the handler, but in this case, we want to make sure Harley is used to all sorts of people.

Harley had a great time at a neighbor's outdoor Solstice party tonight. He especially enjoyed getting to run around and play with a dog-loving girl.

Xander's man works with him on the outdoor version on "Mat", where the dog can hang out on an elevated place. Great work!

We took Xander for one last walk this morning, said a blessing for him, and took the "In Training" patches off his vest. Soon he'll be flying to Boston with his handler to start his new life as a service dog. We're sure going to miss him, but we know they're going to be a great team!

It's important for the dogs not to bolt when a door opens, so we've been practicing sit-stays while opening and closing the doors.
