Quote from Scott Ostram, a US Marine veteran, talking about what a service dog will do.
Dogs hate grates, (they feel like their paws will go through the holes, which is not unreasonable). Here is Otto getting used to them, though! Good dog!!!

Lexi came with us to the paint store and hardware store. Lots of unusual smells and sounds, but she did great!
Homer and Otto practicing fetch, a great way to give a dog exercise in a small area!
We brought Palmer along for dinner and a chapel service at church last night, and someone else brought along a therapy dog. Palmer definitely noticed that dog and watched it, but she didn’t react or break her down-stay. Great job, Palmer!
Otto is going to a man with PTSD and needs to be bold - here he is in an elevator, and in a parking garage!
The dogs practice on their elevated beds (the beds are only available to them at select times...they can sit, stand, whatever, but they are trained to stay on them and they get special treats during these times. Great method to use when guests come over, to prevent over-arousal...also great when people are having meals).
New holiday sweaters for Palmer and Lexi.
Doby's mom just sent us a picture of "Doby with Frank our 20# cat. Love them to pieces!"
