Meeting with Kelsey Ryan and Mary Meuwissen of the Epilepsy Foundation Minnesota!
Mat mates Lexi and Palmer.
Otto enjoyed going for a walk around Como Lake today!
Lunchtime mean getting to lie down for a while!
Here is wonderful Lexi practicing “Leave It” (she is surrounded by cut-up hot dogs!)
Homer has been to Menards before, but not THIS Menards--all new sights, sounds, and smells. We even spent some time in the Garden Center while it was raining. Homer was a trooper the whole time. Such a good boy!
We take each service-dog-in-training to at least one movie, usually near the end of their training. It's a real challenge for the dog--lying on a cold sticky floor with lots of smells, with the sounds of the movie booming all around them. Today we took Homer to see "Bears." As expected, he was a little nervous at first, but then he relaxed for the rest of the show. Good dog, Homer!
We took Otto to a lecture at the Minnesota Zoo tonight. There were so many new sights and smells, and we sat in the auditorium for two hours. Otto did great the whole time!
Loving Grand Avenue!
Blast from the past: Training Yorrdan on "Brace" to help provide additional balance support while getting up off the ground.
